Learning how to build support networks can boost the chances of farm success. When beginning farmers start farming, they often seek mentors to support them as they navigate their early farming years. Many applicants to the Savings Incentive Program cite the mentor match aspect of the program, as well as the other connections they make in SIP, as their main motivation for participating.
