This program provides classroom instruction, on-the-farm instruction and group activities designed for people involved in an agriculture production operation to address topics that affect operation and profitability. The instruction is planned through five courses conducted over a five-year period, one course per year. The courses are uniquely structured so that entrance into the program is possible regardless of which course in the cycle is being offered. Students may begin the program in August, September or October each year. Students may be eligible for tuition assistance through a state tuition assistance program.
