Veterans Homestead Project brought Savory Institute’s training series to our farmer/rancher/homesteader community, to stop desertification through large scale grassland regeneration using Holistic (Livestock) Management. A series of 13-day trainings, on 265 acres, with hands-on training in managed rotational grazing & soil restoration. VHP’s mission is to provide American combat veterans instruction in regenerative agriculture practices. VHP ensures a path for veterans which not only supports reintegration to civilian life but also leads to a sustainable future of food.
