The program finances animal waste treatment systems for independent livestock and poultry producers at below conventional interest rates. Loan proceeds may be used to finance 100% of the cost of an eligible animal waste treatment system including storage structures, fencing, pumps, treatment equipment, composters, vegetative filters, filter and buffer strips, and water pollution reduction structures. A borrower must be at least 18 years of age, a Missouri state resident or business, produce less than 1,000 animal units and have a NRCS Certification.
