    Your Annual Financial Check-up

    Jack Davis (December, 2002)
    Summary

As the production year winds down, it is a good time to take the annual financial check-up. One method of assessment is financial analysis using financial ratios. Use numbers from your balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow to calculate the ratios. The ratios fall into five categories: liquidity, solvency, coverage, profitability, and efficiency.
