    Winter Livestock Care

Brian Tuck, Shilah Olson, Ellen Hammond and, Susan Kerr (December, 2010)
    Summary

Winter’s lower temperatures and moist air place extra stress on livestock. Most livestock are well adapted to cold weather, but sick, elderly, or young animals and those under unusual stress are more susceptible. This publication discusses how to care for livestock in the winter.
