    Summary

    The sample costs to establish an olive orchard and produce olives in the Central Coast of California are presented in this study. The study includes costs to grow olives, to process and market for oil by the grower, and costs to grow olives and sell to an oil processor. This study is intended as a guide only, and can be used to make production decisions, determine potential returns, prepare budgets and evaluate production loans.
