    Rhizopus Fruit Rot of Strawberries

    Summary

    Rhizopus fruit rot, or leak, is primarily a postharvest or storage rot, but it may also occur in the field on ripe fruit. The disease is caused by the fungus Rhizopus spp. This publication discusses symptoms, persistence and tranmission, and contol of this disease.
