Summary

This publication provides information to help the owner/operator of a broiler facility to develop a simple nutrient management plan that meets or exceeds National Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) nutrient management standards. This plan should help reduce or eliminate pollutant discharge into surface and ground waters from land application of broiler litter (bedding material and manure) and dead bird compost.
