Summary

Improve on the Meat Price & Yield Calculator tool (https://www.meatsuite.com/calculator/), a user-friendly tool that allows producers to identify a target profit per head, and then formulate pricing across all the pounds of cuts received from a typical animal to reach the goal. The Price Tool simplifies the process by directing farmers to collect a simplified set of data from one typical animal. The improved version of the Tool will also provide users with a reasonable and customizable cost-of-production estimate based on informed data, further aiding the pricing process. Users input channel-specific marketing costs and cut yields, allowing them to then experiment with pricing scenarios for each cut until the target is reached.
