    Managing Farm Stress

    Patricia Tanner Nelson (November, 1999)
    Summary

Too much stress makes you accident-prone, and it can severely strain health and family relationships. The most devastating effect of stress overload is that it changes the way you think. You get tunnel vision and have difficulty exploring options. You grow paranoid, thinking people are criticizing or making fun of you. You have difficulty handling anger because stress reduces your tolerance and resilience.
