    Kansas Farm Lease Law

    Jerrod Westfahl (July, 2005)
    Summary

It is estimated that 50 percent of Kansas farmland is rented. In some areas of the state this figure is higher. With the cost of buying farmland, many farmers cannot stay in business without operating through lease arrangements. It is clear that leases play an important role in farming.
