    Summary

    Joint tenancy is a way of sharing ownership among two or more persons in which each joint tenant holds an equal and undivided interest in the property. Under joint tenancy, the deceased´s ownership interest automatically is transferred to surviving joint tenant(s) upon the death of any joint tenant.
