    Irrigating in a Drought - Strategies to Increase Efficiency Workshop

    Summary

    This workshop was presented by HDFFA and OSU Extension to help Central Oregon farmers understand their soil, crop water needs, irrigation system(s), and water quality. This workshop covers activities that will help farmers learn about water holding capacity, irrigation water output, estimating irrigation needs based on ET and/or Agrimet data, irrigation scheduling, soil moisture monitoring and more.
