Head Scab of Wheat and Vomitoxin

Charles Woloshuk, Donald Scott and, Dirk Maier (June, 1995)
    Summary

This two-page publication entitled, "Head Scab of Wheat and Vomitoxin" discusses head scab and how its severity is increasing daily. Rainy weather recently has provided an environment conducive for infection. Some reasons not to include shriveled grain in crops are that it will reduce the value of the crop, it will lower test weight, and will increase the number of "tombstone" kernels in the grain.
