    Greenhouse Vegetable Production

George Boyhan, Darbie Granberry and, William Kelley (April, 2009)
    Summary

Although greenhouse production is an intensive undertaking, it can be very satisfying and rewarding. One advantage of greenhouse vegetable production is the relatively small amount of area required compared with field-grown produce. In addition, the return on investment can be good if the requisite markets can be found. This bulletin addresses greenhouse types, designs and construction. It also describes types of cultivars, cultural practices, and harvesting and post-harvest handling techniques.
