    Fundamentals of Strategic and Tactical Business Planning

    Summary

    This paper has two objectives: 1) to spell out some of the advantages of the business planning process to provide additional motivation to those managers who may see the need for further planning but have thus far been reluctant to initiate the planning process; and 2) to outline the components of a business plan and describe how a manager might begin to develop a business plan that is suited to their specific needs.
