Farmland Access Literacy Workshop

Summary

This workshop is designed to offer beginning farmers an overview of creative and community-oriented solutions to help them prepare for and begin their land access journey. Participants learn of tools and best practices for a wide range of land access steps: assessing readiness, goal setting, types of land tenure (e.g. leasing, owning, cooperatives etc), securing financing, and resources for evaluating and finding land.
