    Farm Safety for Young Children

    Lynn Graham (January, 1995)
    Summary

Accidents kill more children than disease, kidnapping, and drugs combined. Each year, an estimated 300 people under age 19 die and approximately 24,000 are seriously hurt on our nation’s farms. Includes a summary of a child’s growth and development as it relates to farm hazards, so families can provide supervision that’s right for each child.
