Summary

Rogelio Bautista owns his own farm in the Hudson Valley. Through this clip, he shares the story about how GrowNYC’s FARMroots program helped him with the transition from employee to owner. Additionally, he offers advice for individuals seeking to climb the ladder from laborer to management. This clip was produced by the Labor Ready Farmer project (https://smallfarms.cornell.edu/projec...), a collaboration between the Cornell Small Farms Program, GrowNYC’s FARMroots, Cornell Cooperative Extension’s LOF program and ENY Horticulture team, and the Cornell Farmworker program. It was filmed and edited by Diana Molina Sosa LLC, of New York City.
