Summary

The potato tuberworm, Phthorimaea operculella (Zeller), is a pest of many solanaceous crops, including potatoes. Commonly found in tropical and subtropical regions throughout the world, potato tuberworm (PTW) is one of the most important constraints to potato production worldwide.
