    Analyzing the Impact of Drought Conditions on Texas High Plains Agriculture

    Summary

    Much of the Southern United States experienced drought conditions in 2011. The situation was especially severe in Texas, where agricultural producers faced substantial income losses. While dryland crops and cattle were the most significantly impacted, irrigated farms were also affected.
