Pollinators and Pesticide Sprays during Bloom in Fruit Plantings

Dave Biddinger and, Kathy Demchak (2014)
    Summary

The purpose of fungicide sprays applied during bloom has been to protect plants from diseases that can infect future fruit tissue through the blossom; thus, fungicide sprays during bloom can decrease or negate the need for fungicides closer to or during harvest.
