    Deer Control Options

    Lance Gegner (2003)
    Summary

There are five general methods for preventing or controlling deer damage to crops. These include exclusion, cultural methods, use of scare devices, use of repellents, and culling or harvest. The enclosed materials provide detailed information on the use of these methods for control of deer. Before implementing any deer control method, it is strongly suggested you contact the specific wildlife, natural resource, or conservation agency that enforces the wildlife regulations in your state, as these agencies may have specific programs or laws that could be of service or restrict options.
