The Farm/Agriculture/Rural Management – Hazard Analysis Tool is a simple method of providing first-hand information about hazards, a process for evaluating hazards, and recommendations on correcting hazards. FARM-HAT can be used with farming, ranching, roadside farm markets, agritourism farms, and other similar operations. The evaluation system provides users with critical safety and health information using minimal text.
Farm-Hat has been redesigned and is now maintain by the National Farm Medicine Center and the Marshfield Clinic Research Foundation.
This program was developed with partial funding from the Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture and The National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health.

FARM-HAT has been redesigned and is now called Safer Farm which is available as a mobile-device friendly website that was developed and now maintained by the National Farm Medicine Center and the Marshfield Clinic Research Foundation.
